Worm/Spur gear - TY

The TY products belong to the two-stage Tornado angular gearboxes and is based on a worm/spur gearbox with AC or DC motors. Of course, we also offer this series as a gearbox only, so that the flexibility for the other components remains with our customers.

The main advantages of the TY are:

  • higher efficiency, more compact, higher torque with less motor power than with a single-stage gearbox
  • Suitable centre distances depending on torque
  • Numerous gear ratios
  • Several output shaft options (solid shaft, hollow shaft, flanged shaft)
  • Bespoke gearbox housing
  • Various motor configurations (induction motors as well as PMDC motor...)
