Drives for Studio and Stage Technology

The challenge with stage technology is that you don't notice it at best. Especially when it comes to drives, this requirement cannot be easily met. Over decades, Tornado has built up its expertise in manufacturing high-quality, low-noise and safe drive solutions for the upper and lower machinery of studio and stage technology. Areas of application are, for example, rigging or flying systems. In addition, our drives have also proven their worth in moving loads such as lighting units.

Tornado determines the requirements for each specific stage application and develops a powerful solution. We design complete plug-and-play systems with geared motors, (double) brakes and limit switches. In addition, we also offer individual components such as gears to offer our customers maximum flexibility.

The basis for this is our worm and spur gear units from the standard product range. The many and varied unparalleled design variants of our series products (TD-Series / TS-Series) enable maximum modification. This enables us to adapt the product to any requirement. In some cases, it is recommended to build completely new, individual drive solutions.
